Social Media Training

Frazzled by Facebook? Turned off by Twitter? Lost in LinkedIn? Puzzled by Pinterest?

We offer one-to-one sessions designed and personalised to help you promote your business online using social media.

We don’t talk jargon, we work at your pace and we will never, ever say “Just do this” and hit three buttons on your keyboard and leave you to work it out by yourself.

Sessions are usually conducted in three hourly ‘chunks’ so that you never feel overwhelmed by information.

You will be asked about your business, about your interests and shown how to build your brand online.

Some businesses work well on Facebook, others thrive best on LinkedIn and most will simply love Twitter.

Haven’t got time to run your own account? We can help. Ask us about our monthly management packages.

We can even help you to get your head around the new kid on the social media block – Pinterest.

The key to social media is in the title – it’s social. It’s about building relationships and about letting people know that you exist and what you are all about.

Here’s what some of our clients have said about our training

“I just wanted to say a very special thank you for this Wednesday.  Our ‘one to one’ session made me able to understand and feel comfortable using both Facebook and Twitter in only a few hours.

I am now building up my following and able to promote Porters in so many ways and all for less
than one advertisement in the local press!!!  I couldn’t have done it without you.
Many thanks and regards.”

“I think it’s fair to say Katherine isn’t a techy geek, far from it.  So, when she came along to give me a “Classroom” lesson on social media it wasn’t a rambling, jargon filled, speed talking session set out to make me feel inadequate on all sorts of levels and totally uncool. It was, on the other hand, an easy, simple (that was important) relaxed introduction into the benefits and hands on understanding of how to get started.  She also came prepared with a little handout.  Again, maybe a generation thing, maybe just me, it was nice to have something to refer to and reread once she had gone.  Not that I hadn’t taken in what she had taught me but you know how it is, sometimes the memory retention isn’t what it once was.”

Jim Morrison – Utility Warehouse Discount Club @phonejim

“It’s changed our lives.”

Lee Gray and Beth Simpson – G and S Organics @gandsorganics and @organicbeth

“Katherine is an ideal person to lead you through the maze of social networking. She is fun, understanding and knowledgeable in a non-threatening way. Speaking as someone who is less than confident in the ways of computers, Katherine’s easy manner and openness quickly put me at my ease. I recommend her highly as a teacher of social networking and how it can be used effectively as a marketing tool. Thank you very much Katherine!”

Jan Etoile, Etoile Enterprises @EtoileJan

“Social media is an increasingly important tool for brand-building and connecting with customers and we were lucky enough to be introduced to Katherine at a social media event. Katherine then arranged for a one to one meeting which enabled us to learn more about the social networking side of things and move forward with that side of promoting our business. I found Katherine to be extremely helpful and very easy to talk to and would not have any hesitation in recommending her.”
