The brief: Working with the Head of Communications Whole Systems Integrated Care at NHS West London CCG the brief was to write patient orientated copy for an audience of people aged over 65 to explain a new health service especially for them.

The project: A full marketing campaign, including a detailed leaflet for patients, a general leaflet, posters, a website with case studies and a press release to announce the service launch.

The project: Working with the sales and marketing team at the Market Research Society, I designed and ran a one-day copywriting workshop at the head office of the Market Research Society in London.
The workshop established the society’s tone of voice and addressed the varied needs of the team, from those at a junior basic level to those with more experience of regular e-comms delivery.

The brief: We needed website copy that would resonate with craft brewers, corporate brewers and distillers. A hard task for many a copywriter, however, Katherine’s flair and understanding of the outcome required helped create a tone of voice that brought the quality, taste and flavour of Simpsons Malt to life.
The project: Creating a tone of voice document through onsite visits and interviews with key members of the Simpsons Malt team. Drinking ‘the occasional craft beer’ and chewing the malt with Richard and Peter Simpson was a key element of the learning process.

The brief: Micheldever wants to promote the services and support provided by one of their internal divisions in a way that will appeal to and inform both their franchise dealer network and vehicle manufacturers.
The project: Together with Rich and Ellie, I developed a script for a promotional stop-motion animated film. The four-minute script highlighted Micheldever’s history, the company’s strengths and the specific services provided by an internal division of the company.

NCFE | Brand guidelines and promotion

The brief: We’re looking to develop a set of guidelines for a new logo lock-up that we’re introducing to help third parties explain the use of our brand when displayed on their learning materials. We also want to produce a promotional leaflet that promotes the service we offer to endorse third-party resources.

The project: Working with the Learning Resources Manager at NCFE to develop an in-house brand guidelines document that explained the relationship between the well-established NCFE and CACHE brands. In addition, I was commissioned to write materials to promote NCFE’s third-party endorsement service.
